Jonathan Wrobel
As an active environmentalist with a degree in business and sustainability, Jonathan is passionate about helping people increase their comfort, save money and lower their carbon footprint. After moving from Chicago, Jonathan worked for a small upcycling company as the Director of Operations helping reduce the pre-consumer materials left over from the manufacturing process. Realizing his passion for building science and engineering, he founded Portland Home Energy Score in 2017 to help homeowners understand the benefits of reducing their home energy use. Jonathan has a wide range of certifications; he is a building performance analyst (BPI) and is one of the first certified Department of Energy Home Energy Score Assessors in Portland. Jonathan continues to expand his experience and his professional services through the NorthWest Energy Cooperative. He brings strong business acumen and combines it with his extensive knowledge of building science. Jonathan has strong financial acuity and uses a value-based approach to managing the triple bottom line. His passion for people and building science creates meaningful relationships with both clients and some of the most reputable home improvement professionals in the industry. He’s an avid outdoorsman and lives in North Portland with his wife and two children.

William Castrillón
William is a Spanish-speaking native of (metro)Atlanta, Georgia who found himself at home in the Pacific Northwest. He is an environmental engineer by trade, and specialized his career in building operations management and green building construction. Since starting his construction career, William has gained extensive experience in the green building industry, having verified several hundred multifamily units and single family homes certified under various green building certification programs. He has designed, managed, and constructed residential and light commercial solar and energy storage systems. William holds RESNET HERS Rater, ENERGY STAR verifier, and 2020 NGBS verifier accreditations and is the Director of Building Certifications at NWECB. He is passionate for helping others monopolize on the federal, state and local tax credits and rebates available for green building construction and energy efficient upgrades.When not working at NW Energy Collaborative, William can be found in hiking uphill, riding his mountain bike at Post Canyon, or tossing a lure in the Wilson river.
